The Ministry of Aliyah and Integration is investing in Olim with a wide range of new benefits for 2025 Olim, designed to enhance your Aliyah experience and facilitate your acclimation.

AMAZING BENEFITS

FOR 2025 OLIM

Tuition Assistance *NEW

The Student Authority offers financial assistance for studies for Mechina (up to age 23), BA (up to age 27), and MA (up to age 30). Studies must start at a recognized institution within three years of Aliyah, excluding army or Sherut Leumi service.

Rental Assistance *NEW

Misrad Hashikun offers monthly rental assistance for Olim Chadashim, starting the 7th month after Aliyah, up to your 30th month. The level of assistance depends on your family status, where you live, and your length of residence in Israel.

FINANCIAL BENEFITS

Sal Klita

Financial assistance provided by Misrad Haklita (Ministry of Aliyah and Integration).

Rental Subsidy

The Ministry of Housing offers Olim Chadashim rental assistance beginning from the 7th month of Aliyah.

Arnona Discount

Reduced municipal property tax for Olim Chadashim, applicable to both renters and owners.

Mortgage Discount

Low interest rates, compared to other market rates, for up to about 300,000 NIS.

Israeli Income Tax

Discounted income tax payments on income earned in Israel.

Foreign Income Tax

Tax breaks on passive and active income earned overseas.

CUSTOMS & IMPORT BENEFITS

Customs Benefit

Olim can import three tax-free shipments of appliances and household items within their first three years.

Bringing in Money

Olim can bring up to 50,000 NIS in cash or cash value into Israel without the need to report it to authorities.

Car Benefit

Olim pay a reduced tax rate on the purchase of a new car in Israel or the import of a car from abroad.

OTHER BENEFITS

Health Coverage

Bituach Leumi (the National Insurance Institute) provides up to six months of free basic health insurance to new Olim without income. *Healthcare is NOT free for Former A-1 visa holders.

Ulpan

Free full-time Hebrew Ulpan course, available at various locations throughout Israel, accessible to Olim for up to 10 years post-Aliyah.

Daycare Subsidy

Tuition reduction for recognized preschools and kindergartens.

Tuition Assistance

Heavily subsidized university tuition for eligible young Olim.

Transport from Ben Gurion

Olim receive free transportation from the airport to their first destination in Israel.
