Cancellation and Refunds
Where there are good reasons to do so (including when the minimum number of course participants is not met), Hebrew Connect may cancel your course and will make every reasonable effort to give you as much notice of cancellation as possible. In such case, Hebrew Connect will refund all fees paid by you and will endeavor to offer a transfer to another course as an alternative, subject to payment or refund of any difference in purchase price. Hebrew Connect’s liability when it cancels a course will be limited to a refund of any fees or charges paid for the cancelled course. For partial cancellation of a course, such refunds will be made on a proportionate basis.
You have the right to cancel your course registration by sending written notice to Hebrew Connect up to 72 hours before the course commencement and will receive a full refund (less a 100 ILS administration fee). If you cancel less than 72 hours before the course if due to commence or withdraw from the course after its commencement, no refund will be provided, other than in extenuating circumstances as set forth below. To cancel your registration please inform us by emailing [email protected].
If you withdraw during the first week of a course due to extenuating circumstances (medical emergency, family emergency), you should notify Hebrew Connect and your case will be considered by NBN Connect management. In such case, you will be able to use the remaining course credit for an upcoming course
(within 3 months) of the same or similar level, subject to availability in the given course.
If you are unsatisfied with the teacher or teaching method, you are encouraged to promptly inform Hebrew Connect, who will seek to address this.
In the event of cancellation by Hebrew Connect, depending on the relevant course, you may be offered the option (instead of a refund) to convert your payment into other Hebrew learning options offered by Hebrew Connect or apply your payment to an equivalent course whose start date begins within 6 months from the start date of the canceled course.
Attendance and Punctuality
Regular attendance is vital in order to make progress with a course and course teachers should be notified of any absence from class, preferably by email. Participants are expected to arrive on time for their course classes and actively participate. In the case of live online instruction, participants are required to have cameras and microphones available.
If a class needs to be postponed due to the teacher’s unavailability, all students will be promptly informed, and the canceled class will be rescheduled. The cancelled classes can be rescheduled either in the period of the current course duration or in the week following the last class of the given course in the same day and time slot when the course takes place.
You understand and agree that progress in learning the language also depends on yourself and the time you dedicate to improving the language and you will therefore not have any claim against Hebrew Connect regarding the level you achieve after the Course.
