Important:

  • Make sure you review and complete the checklist above prior to your arrival.
  • If you already had another appointment scheduled at the Embassy, please cancel it so someone else can use it.
  • Please note: Nefesh B’Nefesh staff will not be authorized pick up documents on your behalf. The US Embassy requires using pre-paid Israel Post mailing labels (payable online) for all applications. Follow the US Embassy website for instructions.
  • All fees must be paid online at Pay.Gov. Make sure to print your receipt to provide as proof of payment. This is the only method of payment available. There will be no cashier at the event.
  • If you have a combination of CRBA and passport renewals, you must bring two separate pre-paid mailing labels to your appointment.
  • There are no appointments for lost, damaged, or stolen passports.
  • There will be no emergency or walk-in appointments available.

Online Payments

  • Adult Passport Book Renewal (DS-82):  $130 [payable ONLY by gov]

Fees (must be ready in US dollars):

  • Adult Passport Book Renewal (DS-82):  $130 [payable ONLY by pay.gov]
  • Minor Passport Book (first-time or renewal) (DS-11):  $135
  • Consular Report of Birth Abroad (DS-2029):  $100

Payment methods: 

Bank checks:

  • Must be payable to “U.S. Embassy”
  • Must be in the U.S. dollar amount of the service (not the NIS equivalent)
  • Must be typed by the bank; bank checks with handwritten information (or handwritten revisions) will not be accepted
  • Must have a series of three electronically printed numbers on the bottom
  • Must show the dollar amount completely and properly within the amount box, with the amount printed neither above nor below the box  

NOTE: Personal checks are not accepted.

  • Israeli shekels (NIS) (amount is according to the U.S. Embassy daily rate of exchange) 

Note: All fees are non-refundable. The passport fee is a non-refundable processing fee and is retained by the Department of State whether or not the passport is issued.
