Chatam is a very active out-of-town-style Yeshivish-learning community. Visit their website at https://chatam.org/. They have an English-speaking Rav, R’ Yosef Ashenburg, and offer numerous shiurim and classes in English.

The Berman area features a vibrant Modern Orthodox shul. The majority of Olim reside in close proximity to the Chatam and Berman shuls.

  • Kaplan Hospital is located in Rechovot and is within walking (and Eiruv) distance from the various neighborhoods of the city
  • All four major medical providers (Maccabi, Leumit, Meuchedet, Clalit) have branches in Rechovot.
  • Be’er Cheder caters to many of the Kollel families, including some from the Anglo community.
  • In Rechovot, there is a local Bais Yaakov to which the majority of Chareidi families, including many Anglo families, choose to send their daughters.
