The Center for Integration in Science (run by the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration) assists new immigrant and returning resident scientists in integrating into Israeli R&D.
The goals of the Center are:
- To make it easier for new immigrant and returning resident scientists to integrate into R&D networks and academic research institutes in Israel.
- To advise and guide scientists who are searching for employment in Israel.
- To encourage institutions, businesses, and academic bodies to absorb new immigrant and returning resident scientists, and to assist them in doing so.
- To support the expansion of the research and development network in Israel using the knowledge and experience brought by scientists.
- To participate with other government bodies in determining policies for developing scientific human resources in Israel.
- Encourage and assist qualified new immigrant and returning resident scientists from fields such as engineering, biotech, physicians, etc. to find employment in Israel.
