Meet Adina Sacks, Nefesh B’Nefesh employment advisor extraordinaire. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Adina made Aliyah in 1994 and has been working for NBN since 2012.

“My favorite part of working at Nefesh B’Nefesh is that no two days are the same,” explained Adina. “I get to help Olim make their employment dreams a reality.”

In her job as an employment advisor, in addition to giving career guidance, Adina assists Olim in building and revising their resumes to help them best break into the Israeli job market.

“When resume building, never assume people will understand what you mean. Connect the dots for them. Give them enough information that they will understand what you are trying to tell them,” Adina said.

“Plan ahead, network with people in your field in Israel and be ready to jump in when you arrive on Aliyah.”
