Government Offices Assisting Disabled Individuals

According to the Israeli Law of Equal Rights, the State of Israel has a responsibility to ensure that people with disabilities are treated equally.
The following listing includes government offices and agencies that provide services for disabled individuals in Israel.

  • Bituach Leumi (National Insurance Institute): Provides grant allowances, rehabilitation services, and other services. Branches are located all over the country. For a listing of local branches and information about relevant laws and procedures, see www.btl.gov.il.
  • Misrad HaRevacha (Ministry of Social Affairs): Provides rehabilitation services geared towards improving the level of functioning for disabled individuals.
