Don't miss the incredible, once in a lifetime experience of making Aliyah together with a planeload of other Olim. In addition, you will be able to greatly reduce the bureaucracy by having important Aliyah paperwork processed on the plane.

Services & Grant Application: In addition to receiving NBN’s full range of services, funding will be provided for those who join a Nefesh B'Nefesh flight, and whose grant application is accepted by the NBN Review Committee**.

Services Only Application (No Financial Assistance Needed): Applicants requesting non-financial assistance (services only) are encouraged to join an NBN flight to benefit from the expedited processing, however they may also make their own flight arrangements at any time and avail themselves of our services.

Priority for funding and flight placement will be given to completed applications received by the original deadline. Applications must be received and approved prior to making Aliyah in order to be eligible for assistance. Grants are awarded for the calendar year in which you originally apply to make Aliyah, and do not carry over into subsequent calendar years.

** If for extenuating circumstances you cannot join a flight but still require financial assistance, please e-mail Doreet at doreet@nbn.org.il. Requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Not sure which application is for you?
Financial assistance is awarded to individuals or families based on financial need. Applicants that are assessed to have sufficient funds for Aliyah will not be awarded financial assistance. If you are unsure whether or not you have sufficient funds to be considered ineligible for financial assistance, feel free to contact to Rabbi Yehoshua Fass, NBN Executive Director, directly via email (yfass@nbn.org.il) before starting the application process.

Financial Grant
NBN provides financial assistance to qualified singles and families to enable the dream of Aliyah to be actualized. This application requires financial disclosure to ascertain eligibility for financial assistance.

Aliyah Chartered Flight
NBN Olim fly to Israel together on chartered flights. Making Aliyah together with hundreds of fellow Olim, not only gives our Olim the emotional support that is helpful for this move, but also facilitates more efficient processing vis-à-vis government offices. Government officials from The Ministry of the Interior (Misrad Hapnim) actually are on board processing the Olim’s teudot. In addition, these Aliyah flights provide a much needed morale boost to Israeli citizens and encourages Aliyah by showing masses moving to Israel.

Employment
Our office of employment is ready to help those who are seeking assistance in employment, job retraining, or to be matched with a professional mentor upon arrival in Israel.

Absorption – Klitah
Our office of absorption is ready to assist each oleh with their questions regarding zechuyot (rights as an immigrant), governmental processing, or any other aspect of the governmental absorption. The answer to many frequently asked questions about Aliyah and zechuyot, can be found on our website in the Aliyah resources section.

Department of Guidance and Community Resources
Our Department of Guidance and Community Resources is there for those Olim that need someone to speak to for guidance or referrals in matters of mental health, education, community, summer programs and ulpanim for children.
