Overview

The Immunology and Allergy lab at the Shamir Medical Center is seeking a laboratory worker.

The lab researches food allergies and supports a special and innovative food allergy desensitization program run by the Shamir Allergy Clinic. This is an opportunity to join a group conducting research in an interesting and highly relevant field.

Job responsibilities include: routine laboratory work, preparation of reagents and solutions, cell culture work, and performing experiments under the guidance of the lab team (including Western blot, ELISA, flow cytometry, and real-time PCR).

Start date: before August 2026; immediate start possible.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences – required
• Certification/recognition as a medical laboratory worker – an advantage
• Familiarity with methods such as cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISA, Western blot, and real-time PCR – an advantage
• Languages: Hebrew and English – good reading and speaking ability
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (at least Word and Excel)
• Organized and detail-oriented
