Overview
The English Content Writer in the Department of International Relations and Development is responsible for writing and editing content, proposals, and reports for international donors.
Salary grade range: 40–42 (Academic ranking)
Reporting to: Director of International Relations and Development
Job Description:
• Writing fundraising proposals for exhibitions, projects, and funding opportunities related to the Museum’s various departments.
• Writing and editing reports and updates for foundations and individual donors.
• Submitting online applications to foundations.
• Leading and producing large-scale writing projects that require coordination between internal and external stakeholders, along with strict time management.
• Drafting marketing content for the department’s target audience, including newsletters, updates, letters, and more.
• Fulfilling all requirements and tasks related to the position.
• Supporting the department’s activities as needed.
Job Requirements:
1. Native-level English speaker; high proficiency in Hebrew.
2. Proven ability to write content in English, including fundraising proposals, donor reports, and marketing materials.
3. Academic degree.
4. Experience in development and fundraising, as well as in marketing and/or international relations.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills and high-level communication abilities.
6. Ability to translate from Hebrew to English.
7. High proficiency in computerized work environments and an affinity for digital tools and technology.
8. Ability to work as part of a team.
9. Flexibility in working hours and availability when necessary in order to meet deadlines.
