Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of the organization’s core programs.
  • Build and maintain program schedules, including educational components, trips, activities, student life, site-based experiences, and key milestones.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure that staffing, logistics, education, student life, medical, security, finance, admissions, marketing, and communications are aligned with program needs.
  • Serve as the central program lead for internal and external communication related to the program.
  • Monitor program readiness, follow up on open issues, and ensure that key components move forward from planning through delivery.
  • Support participant engagement, behavior management, group culture, and experiential enrichment in coordination with relevant staff.
  • Work closely with the Director of Education and Director of Student Life to ensure that program content and experiences support the organization’s educational goals.
  • Address operational challenges during program delivery and escalate complex or sensitive issues as needed.
  • Gather feedback, review program outcomes, and recommend improvements for future program cycles.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, preferably in education, travel, youth programming, or nonprofit operations.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs from planning through execution.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and priorities across multiple departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Hebrew proficiency is highly preferred.
  • Ability to lead meetings, manage stakeholder expectations, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience working with or coordinating across departments such as logistics, education, health and safety, finance, and marketing.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach, with the flexibility to respond to real-time program needs and solve problems effectively.

Preferred

  • Background in educational travel, youth movements, or immersive learning environments.
  • Familiarity with American Jewish teen audiences and international educational program models.
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Monday.com, or other CRM/project management tools.

Location

Primarily based in Hod Hasharon, with two days per week in Be’er Sheva.
