Overview
Midreshet B’erot Bat Ayin is seeking a warm, organized, responsible, and inspiring Student Affairs Coordinator to help foster a positive, caring, and well-functioning student community.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring young women, takes initiative, has strong organizational skills, and is passionate about helping students grow spiritually while encouraging them to become responsible members of our Midrasha community.
Primary Responsibilities:
Student Guidance and Support
• Foster a warm, caring, and welcoming environment for all students.
• Help students appreciate the privilege and responsibility of studying at Midreshet B’erot Bat Ayin.
• Encourage students to fulfill their communal responsibilities with maturity, enthusiasm, and accountability.
• Be available to assist students with practical needs and occasional emergencies.
• Help connect students with adoptive families and other sources of support within the community.
• Meet with all students once a week during the lunch break to discuss upcoming events, review important announcements, address communal matters, and strengthen communication within the student body.
Madricha Supervision
• Oversee and mentor the madrichot.
• Help ensure that student needs are being addressed appropriately.
• Supervise the madrichot in planning, preparing, coordinating, and running Shabbatons, retreats, tiyulim, and other special Midrasha programs and events.
• Meet regularly with the madrichot to discuss student concerns, campus life, and ways to strengthen the student experience.
Work-Study Program
• Supervise the work-study students.
• Assign responsibilities in coordination with other staff.
• Ensure work assignments are completed responsibly and to an appropriate standard.
• Encourage students to develop a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.
Student Community and Shared Spaces
• Help ensure that communal student areas remain clean, organized, welcoming, and efficiently maintained.
• Encourage students to return items to their proper places and take ownership of their shared environment.
• Help oversee that communal lights, air conditioners, and other utilities are turned off when no longer needed.
• Help ensure that communal responsibilities, such as kitchen duties and general upkeep, are carried out consistently.
• Assist in identifying unnecessary clutter and maintaining an orderly student environment.
Team Collaboration
• Work closely with the Director, Campus Manager, and administrative staff to identify student needs and develop practical solutions.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to continually improve student life and strengthen the Midrasha community.
• Assist with implementing new initiatives that enhance student growth, responsibility, and community life.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Fluent English required; Hebrew is an advantage.
• Capable of promoting the values and the mission of Midreshet B’erot Bat Ayin.
