Overview
The Sr. Controller will lead the accounting and related operations, CF forecasting, and compliance. This senior leadership role partners with executive leadership and plays a key part in shaping the organization’s financial future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cash flow, reserves, and financial performance metrics
  • Lead the accounting department
  • Prep and oversight of audit of annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with Israeli tax law, nonprofit regulations, and internal controls
  • Manage relationships with auditors, legal counsel, tax advisors, suppliers, and financial institutions
  • Enhance financial systems and processes to support organizational growth
  • This position has the potential for long-term growth trajectory

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Controller in Israel or similar financial role
  • Strong knowledge of Israeli accounting/bookkeeping, payroll
  • Experience with nonprofit financial regulations – required
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience with managing relationships with large suppliers and service providers.
  • Israeli CPA
  • Experience running a budget of over $25 million
  • Native‑level English (required) and professional Hebrew proficiency (required)
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • High proficiency with Israeli financial systems
  • Ability to work full-time on‑site in our Jerusalem office
