Overview
Manager for Resilience Programs
Areas of Responsibility:
- Planning, managing, and implementing targeted mental well-being and support programs for immigrant Miluimnikim, married couples, and their families.
- Developing tailored interventions addressing the unique mental health challenges faced by immigrant miluim soldiers, both during and after their military service.
- Ability to manage partnerships with government entities, medical institutions, health funds, and other relevant organizations.
- Effectively navigating the Israeli mental health system: familiarity with public and private services, identifying service gaps, and improving accessibility for immigrants.
- Optimally utilizing local resources, including recruiting professionals, volunteers, and community stakeholders to deliver programs in the field.
- Ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement of program outcomes and overall effectiveness.
- Measure program progress and prepare high-quality reports that reflect the Center’s scope, performance, and value to funders and stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Native-level Hebrew and high-level English- written and spoken.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in a relevant field (psychology, public health, social work) is an advantage.
- Proven experience in managing social or therapeutic programs, preferably with immigrant populations.
- Strong organizational skills, strong logistics skills, ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and excellent interpersonal communication.
- In-depth familiarity with government ministries and/or local authorities, and understanding of their operational processes.
- Willingness to work some evenings/Fridays and travel as needed.
