About the Company:

Fogel CFO & Management Services, a fractional Finance Department firm, is looking to hire a Manager of Financial Operations to cover the needs of our growing list of clients. If you have finance experience, are organized, responsible, have incredible attention to detail, and have an easy but professional way with people, we would love to have you join our team.

Overview
– Serve as the second-in-command at Fogel CFO, responsible for managing and scaling the team.
– Own people management, structure, and performance across the entire organization (strategy + operations).
– Act as the bridge between leadership and staff, ensuring clarity, accountability, and execution.
– Maintain financial involvement with select clients to stay close to the work

Core Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management:
– Directly manage 12-15 team members across finance, operations, and client delivery.
– Define clear roles, expectations, and accountability structures.
– Lead performance evaluations, feedback cycles, and professional development.
– Build and enforce organizational processes (KPIs, workflows, reporting cadence).
– Create a proactive management culture (not just reactive problem-solving).
– Drive identification and adoption of technology tools (e.g., ClickUp, potentially AI-based automation tools) to ensure visibility and efficiency.

Operations & Organizational Scaling:
– Lead onboarding processes for new clients and new employees.
– Identify gaps in systems, staffing, and workflows… and fix them.
– Support and assist in implementing the organization’s structure and growth plan.
– Translate company growth into clear internal infrastructure and KPIs for each employee and team.

Client & Service Oversight:
– Oversee delivery across both core services:
○ Financial strategy (FP&A, modeling, forecasting)
○ Financial operations (day-to-day finance support)
– Ensure consistency and quality across all client engagements.
– Personally manage 1-2 clients to stay hands-on.

What We’re Looking For:

– Strong people manager first (experience establishing trust within the team, accessibility and transparency, ensuring accountability, directing motivation and corporate culture) – financial exposure critical but secondary to management experience.
– 6-10+ years experience in:
○ Team leadership as well as operations and client services.
○ Ideally within finance, consulting, or service-based environments.
– Proven ability to:
○ Manage teams, build consensus and process, drive performance.
○ Build structure in growing organizations.
○ Hold people accountable while maintaining trust.
– Comfortable with financial concepts (budgets, reporting, etc.) (CPA not required!)
– Highly organized, decisive, and execution-oriented.
– Fluent in English; High-level of Hebrew.
