Overview

Job Description:

  1. Assisting economists in their ongoing work and research needs, including data collection, processing using statistical tools, and making data accessible.
  2. Developing familiarity with the Bank’s databases for the purpose of producing outputs.
  3. Performing ongoing tasks according to the needs of the department and division.
  4. Independent work on research tasks, analysis, literature reviews, and international comparisons (regulation, data, and more).

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s student in Economics / PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) / Business Administration, in at least the second year of studies. Intention to continue directly to a master’s degree (at least two years of studies remaining).
  2. Inclination toward financial fields.
  3. Good familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: Python, MATLAB, R.
  4. Ability to independently learn statistical tools and use econometric models.
  5. Good command of Office tools, with emphasis on Excel.
  6. High learning ability, motivation, and achievement orientation.
  7. Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
  8. Availability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, spread across at least 3 days per week (Sunday–Thursday) – mandatory.
