Job Description:
- Assisting economists in their ongoing work and research needs, including data collection, processing using statistical tools, and making data accessible.
- Developing familiarity with the Bank’s databases for the purpose of producing outputs.
- Performing ongoing tasks according to the needs of the department and division.
- Independent work on research tasks, analysis, literature reviews, and international comparisons (regulation, data, and more).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s student in Economics / PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) / Business Administration, in at least the second year of studies. Intention to continue directly to a master’s degree (at least two years of studies remaining).
- Inclination toward financial fields.
- Good familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: Python, MATLAB, R.
- Ability to independently learn statistical tools and use econometric models.
- Good command of Office tools, with emphasis on Excel.
- High learning ability, motivation, and achievement orientation.
- Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Availability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, spread across at least 3 days per week (Sunday–Thursday) – mandatory.
