Overview

The Invoicing Team Remote Lead oversees a remote invoicing team operation. This role focuses on team supervision, training, workflow coordination, escalation management, process improvement, and payment-related support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicative, and capable of leading a distributed team while improving invoicing operations and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Train, guide, and mentor invoicing team members on invoicing procedures

Answer invoicing team questions and provide ongoing operational support

Delegate daily tasks and ensure timely completion of assignments

Handle escalated or complex invoicing issues

Serve as the primary point of contact for payment-related questions and resolutions

Monitor team productivity, accuracy, and performance levels

Document processes, workflows, and operational updates

Identify inefficiencies and help engineer process improvements

Collaborate with the Director of Invoicing on workflow optimization and team performance

Ensure excellent communication and coordination within the remote team environment

Fully remote position

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and follow-through

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational and documentation abilities

Comfortable handling escalations and resolving complex payment issues

Experience with Excel and QuickBooks Online

Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment

Preferred Skills:

Strong background in invoicing, payments, or accounts receivable operations

Experience leading or supervising remote teams

Process improvement and workflow optimization experience

Training and onboarding experience

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across time zones
