The Head of Donor Recognition will work with the Head of Donor Relations to produce donor recognition and stewardship materials that support long-term donor relationships.

Tel Aviv University’s Division of Development and Public Affairs seeks a donor relations professional to join a fast-paced work environment and has experience in producing the full gamut of materials and products that go into donor retention.
The Head of Donor Recognition must be a stellar English-language editor who must be passionate about bringing their creativity and professionalism to bear on cultivating relationships with Tel Aviv University’s worldwide family of donors.

As Head of Donor Recognition, You Get To:
• Report to Head of Donor Relations, taking full responsibility for all the university’s donor recognition;
• Plan and produce all recognition for university donors worldwide;
• Lead a team responsible for producing high-quality donor reports and recognition campaigns across all faculties;
• Develop, write and produce a variety of recognition materials, including reports, publications and correspondence;
• Integrate and implement digital tools to support donor reporting and recognition, including online platforms and interactive reports;
• Work easily and regularly with databases, digital platforms and CRMs to track activity;
• Collaborate closely with academic units, friends’ associations and development teams worldwide;
• Manage, support and develop the department team, at all times fostering a professional, innovative and creative work culture;
• Work with a variety of units within and outside the university, both in Israel and beyond.

This Job Is For You If You:
• Have proven experience drafting professional materials in English;
• Are familiar with the process of donor stewardship and working with international donors in a multicultural environment;
• Are a native-level English speaker, with exceptional language and storytelling skills, preferably with an editorial background;
• Are completely fluent in Hebrew;
• Are familiar with Salesforce and Monday.com platforms;
• Are able to build and lead work processes and new initiatives, and have the flexibility to work beyond regular hours;
• Are easily able to deal with complex situations, cope with a demanding workload and meet multiple deadlines;
• Have at least an undergraduate degree in a relevant field;
• Have at least five years of proven experience managing and leading professional teams;
• Are highly organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
