What You Will Own
1. Consultative Coaching Excellence (Short-Term Wins + Long-Term Capability)
You will raise the bar on what “great coaching” means at our company.
- Lead a deeply consultative coaching approach that goes far beyond scripts or static playbooks
- Diagnose client challenges in real time and problem-solve collaboratively, even in ambiguous or high-resistance moments
- Balance immediate fundraising performance with long-term capability building, helping organizations win campaigns while strengthening their underlying fundraising muscles
- Continuously evolve the craft of coaching based on real client outcomes, not theory
This role requires consulting-level thinking, not sales instincts.
2. Productized, Project-Based Coaching Delivery
You will transform coaching into a structured, high-impact delivery engine.
- Design modular coaching engagements with clear goals, milestones, and accountability
- Lead high-energy, optimistic project execution that builds belief and momentum even when clients are stuck or skeptical
- Hold clients accountable while staying hands-on when needed, doing the work alongside them when it drives outcomes
- Help clients clarify goals, make tradeoffs, and take action, especially around ambassador strategy and peer-to-peer fundraising
You must be comfortable managing complex, emotionally charged projects while maintaining high energy, optimism, and forward motion.
3. People Leadership at Scale
You will build and lead a high-performing coaching organization.
- Directly manage and develop a team of coaches or consultants (ideally 10–20 over time)
- Set clear standards, expectations, and coaching methodologies across the team
- Coach the coaches, balancing empathy with accountability and continuous improvement
- Create a culture of ownership, learning, and pride in craft
This role requires real people management experience, not matrix leadership.
4. Systems, Data, and Learning-Driven Improvement
You will build the operating system behind coaching.
- Use data, systems, and feedback loops to measure coaching effectiveness and identify where methodology needs improvement
- Design client-facing tools such as worksheets, planning frameworks, and goal-setting templates that drive clarity and action
- Translate qualitative coaching insights into structured learning that improves the system over time
- Be a fast, proactive learner who continuously brings new insights into how coaching is delivered and measured
You should believe deeply in systems as a force multiplier.
5. Technical Fluency
You will be expected to operate comfortably in modern tooling.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Comfortable learning and using HubSpot and other CRM or automation tools
- Ability to clearly articulate how you have used systems and data in past roles to manage people, clients, or processes
You do not need to be an engineer, but you must be technically solid and curious.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are likely a strong fit if you bring most of the following:
- Deep experience in consulting, customer success, professional services, or nonprofit operations with a strong coaching orientation
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve live with clients, not just deliver pre-built content
- Strong fundraising and nonprofit fluency, especially peer-to-peer and ambassador-driven models, with the ability to learn and evolve the craft rapidly
- Proven people manager with direct leadership responsibility
- Highly data- and systems-oriented, with strong technical comfort
- Cultural fluency with the Jewish nonprofit ecosystem and global Jewish geography
- Looking for a long-term leadership role with real ownership and growth at our company
