Overview
The Grant & Content Writer for Pitchon Lev’s International Department will play a critical role in advancing our organizational mission. Responsibilities include organizational English language communications, crafting grant proposals, and creating reports on grant activities and outcomes. The role also involves research and writing content for the organization’s website.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, write, and submit grant proposals to international and local funders and Philanthropic sources in English.
• Create detailed and persuasive grant impact and activity reports for funders, based on knowledge and data received from Pitchon Lev’s professional staff.
• Research potential funding opportunities to stay up-to-date on grant cycles and deadlines.
• Collaborate with the program and finance teams to gather necessary data and information for grant proposals and reports.
• Occasionally write and submit grant proposals in Hebrew.
Content Development:
• Write and edit content for the organization’s website, newsletters, and other communication materials in English.
• Ensure all content aligns with Pitchon Lev’s mission, values, and strategic goals.
• Assist in the creation of marketing materials and presentations for international audiences.
Research & Analysis:
• Conduct research to support grant applications, including data on poverty, education, and social welfare in Israel.
• Analyze the impact of funded projects and programs to ensure they meet the objectives set forth in grant agreements.
Communication & Collaboration:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all English-language communications.
• Work closely with the international resource development team to align grant writing efforts with fundraising strategies.
• Collaborate with Pitchon Lev departments to ensure accuracy and consistency of information shared externally.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in grant writing, content creation, or a related field, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Language Skills: Native-level fluency in English; proficiency in Hebrew is an advantage
• Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive content.
• Research Skills: Strong research and analytical abilities, with experience in gathering and synthesizing information from diverse sources.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a simple and impactful manner.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
• Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
