Overview

The Times of Israel, the largest English-language news publisher covering Israel and the Jewish World, seeks a Finance Manager. This position is based in our Jerusalem office and reports to the COO. The position is at least part-time (60-70%) on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities:

Manage payroll
Manage payments to suppliers and freelancers
Financial accounts management
Financial reporting as required by COO, accountant or bookkeeper

Requirements:

Significant experience with financial management in Israel, including payments and taxation regulations; some education in bookkeeping or accounting in an Israeli context a plus
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Excellent, mother-tongue level business communication skills in Hebrew; strong conversational English (oral and written)
Outstanding web worker; can learn new online services and tools quickly
Self-starter who can take projects from inception to completion independently
Some knowledge of online media a plus
