Overview
Abra Technologies is seeking a Director of Finance for a key role within the finance team. The position includes broad responsibility for cross-organizational financial activities, business partnership with management, and leading strategic processes in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
The role combines hands-on execution with team management and requires strong business understanding and the ability to drive cross-organizational processes.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Finance Business Partner to senior management and business unit leaders
- Lead financial management and control across multiple business units / activities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and costing processes
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes

- Analyze financial data and generate business insights
- Identify gaps, risks, and business opportunities
- Lead financial controlling processes
- Manage a team (economists and bookkeeping staff)
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies, including the use of technological tools and AI
- Perform hands-on work with attention to detail לצד a broad, system-level perspective
Requirements:
- Certified CPA (Israeli CPA) – a must!
- 6–10 years of experience in finance
- Relevant prior experience
- Experience working with managers and leading business processes
- Experience in a mid-to-large organization / public company – advantage
- Experience in team management
- High proficiency in Excel and financial systems
- Technological orientation, including the ability to work with AI tools
- Strong analytical skills and business mindset
- Hands-on approach combined with a broad, system-level perspective
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment
