Overview
A New York consumer litigation law firm is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Client Intake & Litigation Assistant to support its growing practice. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong interpersonal skills with legal administrative capability and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and conduct client intake, including initial screenings and information gathering
- Communicate with prospective and existing clients via phone and email
- Draft professional correspondence and client letters in impeccable English
- Assist attorneys with legal research related to consumer litigation matters
- Organize and maintain digital case files and documentation
- Track intake progress and follow up with leads and clients
- Support general administrative and operational tasks as needed
Requirements
- Legally eligible to be employed in the United States (required)
- Exceptional written English, with the ability to draft polished professional letters
- Experience or comfort with legal research
- Strong technical proficiency, including Google Docs and Google Sheets
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Capable of managing multiple priorities independently
- People-oriented, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with clients
- Quick study with strong perceptiveness and judgment
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal intake role
- Familiarity with U.S. consumer litigation terminology and processes
This is a remote position from Israel U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
