Overview

Job Description:

  1. Assisting in the management and maintenance of the Bank’s central series database.
  2. Assisting in the management of the Bank of Israel Information and Statistics Portal.
  3. Modifying, updating, and editing content related to information and statistics on the Bank of Israel website.
  4. Processing data in tables and graphs using Excel and additional software.
  5. Working with multiple interfaces within and outside the Bank.
  6. Documenting public requests for information.
  7. Participating in writing ongoing reviews and reports.
  8. Assisting with additional ongoing tasks in the division as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Student in Economics / Business Administration / Statistics / Accounting, with at least two years of studies remaining (during a bachelor’s or master’s degree) – mandatory.
  2. Full proficiency in Office tools, especially Excel – mandatory.
  3. Familiarity with additional computer systems – an advantage.
  4. Ability to work with information systems and databases, including experience with Python or similar tools, as well as familiarity with AI-based solutions.
  5. Good command of English.
  6. High learning ability, order, and organization.
  7. Good interpersonal skills and high-level communication skills.
  8. Availability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, spread across at least 3–4 days per week (Sunday–Thursday), between 8:00–17:00 – mandatory.

Employment will be under a special contract for temporary employees, for a maximum period of up to 5 years or until completion of studies as a full-time student.
