Overview
Job Description:
- Assisting in the management and maintenance of the Bank’s central series database.
- Assisting in the management of the Bank of Israel Information and Statistics Portal.
- Modifying, updating, and editing content related to information and statistics on the Bank of Israel website.
- Processing data in tables and graphs using Excel and additional software.
- Working with multiple interfaces within and outside the Bank.
- Documenting public requests for information.
- Participating in writing ongoing reviews and reports.
- Assisting with additional ongoing tasks in the division as needed.
Requirements:
- Student in Economics / Business Administration / Statistics / Accounting, with at least two years of studies remaining (during a bachelor’s or master’s degree) – mandatory.
- Full proficiency in Office tools, especially Excel – mandatory.
- Familiarity with additional computer systems – an advantage.
- Ability to work with information systems and databases, including experience with Python or similar tools, as well as familiarity with AI-based solutions.
- Good command of English.
- High learning ability, order, and organization.
- Good interpersonal skills and high-level communication skills.
- Availability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, spread across at least 3–4 days per week (Sunday–Thursday), between 8:00–17:00 – mandatory.
Employment will be under a special contract for temporary employees, for a maximum period of up to 5 years or until completion of studies as a full-time student.
