Overview
Our client, a respected and growing UK law firm, is looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team on a fully remote basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized legal professional who enjoys supporting solicitors, managing documentation, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of legal matters while working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to solicitors and legal teams.
Prepare, format, and proofread legal correspondence and documentation.
Manage diaries, appointments, and key legal deadlines.
Open, maintain, and close client files accurately.
Organise and maintain electronic case files and records.
Liaise professionally with clients, courts, barristers, and third parties.
Handle confidential information with discretion.
Assist with billing, file management, and general office administration.
Ensure work is completed accurately and within required time frames.
Qualifications:
Experienced in a Legal Secretary or Legal Administrator role.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
Professional, reliable, and proactive.
Able to prioritise multiple tasks efficiently.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
A confident communicator with excellent written and spoken English.
Previous experience within a UK legal environment.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
Experience using legal case management systems.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Reliable internet connection and dedicated home office setup.
Available to work during UK business hours.
