Overview

As the Program Director, you’ll oversee program staff, guiding them in student mentorship and welfare, develop engaging educational content together with the Education Director, and ensure seamless operational processes. This full-time position is based in Florentin, Tel Aviv, with weekly travel to Jerusalem.

Key Responsibilities:

*Supervise and mentor program staff, ensuring their professional development, high standards of work, and providing direct guidance on informal education, student well-being and development, and student accountability to program guidelines.
*Collaborate on program development, enhancing educational content and ensuring alignment with program’s mission.
*Manage program operations, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
*Oversee budget management and resource allocation.
*Contribute to strategic planning and the long-term vision of our gap year programs.

Qualifications:

*Experience supervising staff and in team management
*Experience working with Diaspora Jewry
*Passion for experiential Jewish education and young adult development
*Experience in program management and budget management
*Broad vision to integrate educational and operational dimensions
*Ability to manage multiple tasks, anticipate obstacles, and see the big picture
*Fluency (or near fluency) in English and Hebrew (reading, writing, and speaking)
*Rosh Gadol, creative, and excellent interpersonal relations
