Overview
Nest. is a well-established, English-speaking early childhood center in Tel Aviv, serving children ages 6 months–3 years. We are a structured, child-centered environment that prioritizes professionalism, teamwork, and long-term sustainability for both children and educators.
We are currently seeking an experienced, confident Lead Early Childhood Educator to take responsibility for a classroom of up to 18 children, supported by two assistants. This is a leadership role for someone who can guide, mentor, and support a team while maintaining a calm, organized, and nurturing environment for young children.
The Role
* Lead a classroom of infants and toddlers (1-2 years)
* Guide and support two classroom assistants
* Plan and lead age-appropriate activities and daily routines
* Oversee children’s care, including meals, naps, hygiene, and transitions
* Foster a positive, respectful, and professional team culture
* Communicate clearly with colleagues, families, and leadership
* Ensure a safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate environment
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong childcare experience, sound judgment, emotional regulation, and the ability to manage both children and adults effectively.
What We’re Looking For
* Fluency in English (Hebrew is a plus)
* Significant experience working with infants and/or toddlers
* Previous experience leading a classroom or supervising staff preferred
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
* Comfortable giving direction, receiving feedback, and solving problems proactively
* Ability to commit to a consistent schedule
