Friendship Circle of Central Jerusalem is seeking a warm, organized, and motivated Volunteer Coordinator to join our team.

This position focuses on building meaningful relationships between our volunteers and Friendship Circle children and families, while creating a supportive and uplifting volunteer experience throughout the year.

Responsibilities:
Recruit volunteers from local high schools, seminaries, and yeshivas
Build and maintain relationships with school administrators and program heads
Present Friendship Circle programs at schools and recruitment events
Match volunteers with Friendship Circle children and families
Lead volunteer orientations and onboarding
Provide ongoing supervision and support to volunteers, both individually and in groups
Organize volunteer trainings and educational events throughout the year
Maintain regular communication with volunteers and families
Track and monitor weekly visits and volunteer participation
Organize events and activities for Friendship Circle pairs and families

Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented
Ability to connect with teenagers, families, and community members
Fluent in Hebrew and English preferred
Passion for supporting children with special needs and creating meaningful friendships
