Overview
The Director of Finance will lead all financial strategy and operations, forecasting, and compliance. This senior leadership role partners closely with executive leadership and plays a key part in shaping the organization’s financial future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cash flow, reserves, and financial performance metrics
  • Lead the accounting department
  • Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with organizational goals
  • Prep and oversight of audit of annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with Israeli tax law, nonprofit regulations, and internal controls
  • Manage relationships with auditors, legal counsel, tax advisors, and financial institutions
  • Build and lead a high‑performing finance team
  • Enhance financial systems and processes to support organizational growth

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Director of Finance, Controller or similar financial role
  • Experience running a budget of over $25 million dollars
  • Native‑level English (required)
  • Professional Hebrew proficiency (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA strongly advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of Israeli accounting and nonprofit financial regulations
  • Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and data‑driven decision‑making
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • High proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel
  • Ability to work full time on‑site in our Jerusalem office
