Overview

The Asia Project Office (APO) at Tel Aviv University’s Lowy International School coordinates TAU’s Asia Strategy, focusing on brand awareness, outreach, student recruitment, and partnerships with leading Asian institutions.
The Coordinator manages daily operations and core projects, reporting directly to the APO Director.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination:
• Manage APO programs including Research Excellence Program for Asia (RExPA), TAU Experience Masterclass, TAU Research Excellence Days, online programs, Asia Digest, and Global Young Scientists Summit Singapore
• Handle project communications, partner coordination, program design, scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, logistics, and reporting

Partnership Management:
• Communicate with Asian partners via email and video calls
• Review and evaluate cooperation proposals from Asian institutions
• Manage lead generation and relationship development

Operations & Mission Support:
• Conduct open-source research for TAU leadership travel to Asia
• Join TAU delegations when required
• Support hosting of Asian delegations, including meeting documentation and follow-ups
• Coordinate APO’s contractors, suppliers and purchasing together with the Purchasing Coordinator of the School

Qualifications

• BA – must, master’s degree – advantage
• Minimum 1 year experience in international business development, cooperation, education, or project management
• Fluent English. Proficiency in Asian languages – advantage
• Experience with Asia (professional or personal) – advantage
• Willingness to travel to India, China, and other Asian countries
• Ability to work independently
