What we are looking for an experienced resource development professional with a proven record in raising funds through various avenues and who truly enjoys the challenge of the field. Fluent Hebrew required.

Job Description:
This is a full-time position, based at Save a Child’s Heart Holon Children’s Home & Headquarters (16 Haviva
Reik St., Holon). The position incorporates partial remote work.
The position requires the ability to be employed in Israel

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead & develop the organization’s fundraising strategy and the annual workplan of the
department to meet the organization’s $10M annual budget and securing funding for current
and future capital projects ranging from $1-4M
• Report to and assist the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director
• Lead & manage the Resource Development Department (Incl. 2 active Grants & Development
Associates)
• Lead the synchronization of global fundraising efforts across six affiliate offices (US, Canada,
Australia, UK, Netherlands, Switzerland) to ensure brand consistency and shared financial
targets
• Manage the development of existing and new major donors, foundations, foundation
representatives
• Oversee prospect identification, LOIs, grant proposals and reporting for foundations, private
donors, institutional, governmental, organizational entities – such as private foundations and
charitable trusts, Federations etc. This includes management of the process from prospect
research, initial approach application / proposal writing and submission (coordination with relevant
stakeholders), relationship building, collection of project data and information from the medical team
and other departments, report writing and submission
• Manage grant and donation compliance
• Manage project budgets
• Reviewing, crafting & writing, editing – Project proposal documents, donor reports, annual
reports
• Present to visitors including individuals, groups and at events/conferences as may be required

MIN. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Identification with the organization’s values and mission
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent English & Hebrew speaker – Bilingual proficiency
Excellent writing, proofing, and editing skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
• Min. 4 years relevant experience in Resource Development in Israel and/or abroad –
Donor relations & stewardship development, grant writing, project management,
reporting and compliance
• Proven success in identifying and securing gifts and grants
• Proven experience in managing donor relationships
• Public speaking and ability to present to audiences
• Organized and responsible
• Knowledge and proficiency working with Microsoft Office 365 suite, specifically Excel &
Word, SharePoint & OneDrive, Google Suite, Monday Project Management & CRM
• Availability for travel abroad
• Driver’s License
• Ability to provide references from previous employment

ADVANTAGES
• Experience managing a small team
• Academic degree in a relevant field (e.g. International Relations, Business Development)
• Experience and familiarity with the Israel and international philanthropy landscape
• Experience running fundraising campaigns, crowdfunding campaigns
• Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines and targets diligently
• Affinity for and general understanding of the medical field and medical terminology or
experience working with doctors
• Proficiency in additional languages (spoken, reading & writing) – eg. German / Swiss / French /
Spanish
• Experience working in Canva or Photoshop or similar design software
• Technologically oriented, experience with AI tools, able to work remotely when required
• Experience with CRM/donor database systems – Monday / Salesforce or similar
• Experience in the field of Humanitarian Aid, International Development
• Familiarity with grant portals; Grants.gov, EU, Israel Estates Committee etc.
