Job Overview
The Senior Field Applications Engineer (FAE) supports customers using our power management chips (Power ICs). The role combines technical support, customer interaction, and product promotion.
You will work closely with key customers in Israel and across EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), helping them design and use our power IC products in their systems.You will also act as the main Power IC expert within the regional team, supporting colleagues and distribution partners when technical knowledge is needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customersworking with power IC and power management products.
- Act as the main technical contact for assigned customers.
- Help customers design, test, and troubleshoot their electronic boards that use our products.
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
- Work with internal teams (applications engineers, product teams, design teams) when deeper technical support is required.
- Support customer development projects, including:

- board testing and validation
- debugging technical issues
- assisting with product integration
- Review or help create schematics and PCB layouts when needed.
- Build strong working relationships with customer engineering teams.
- Manage technical aspects of customer projects from early design to testing and validation.
- Share feedback from customers to help improve future products.
- Travel to customer sites when needed (up to 40% travel, domestic and international).
- Keep project records up to date and provide regular updates and reports to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (PhD is a plus).
- 7–10 years of experience in power electronics or power management.
- Experience working with server, CPU, GPU, or high-performance computing power systems is preferred.
- Previous experience as an Applications Engineer or Power Design Engineer is an advantage.
Technical Knowledge
Good understanding of:
- Power management systems
- Power supply architectures
- Technologies such as MOSFETs, DrMOS, digital controllers, and point-of-load (POL) regulators
Skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work with international teams in different time zones
- Ability to build relationships with customer engineering teams and identify key decision makers
- Comfortable providing hands-on technical support at customer sites
- Fluent Hebrew (native-level) and Excellent English
- Willingness to travel up to 40%
- Valid driver’s license
