Packaging Operator:

Description:
A Packaging Operator is one who is responsible for ensuring that our products are packaged safely, efficiently, and sanitarily. This role requires one to balance the high-speed work of machine operation and meticulous standards of quality and sanitation.

Responsibilities:

Canning Line Operation:
Start up, monitor, and shut down high-speed canning equipment. This includes managing the de-palletizer, filler/seamer, labeler, and pack-out stations.

Kegging Machine Operation:
Operate automated keg washer/filler to clean, sanitize, and fill kegs while ensuring accurate fill volumes and pressure.

Sanitation & CIP:
Execute strict Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures before and after production runs to prevent contamination.

Quality Assurance:
Perform regular QA/QC checks, including seam inspections, low-fill detection, and date coding accuracy.

Routine Maintenance:
Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime and assist with scheduled preventative maintenance.

Logistics:
Accurately track packaging logs and inventory of raw packaging materials like cans, lids, and labels.

Material Handling:
Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to organize finished goods in the cold room and prepare orders for distribution.

Compensation:
Salary negotiated based on experience.

Sun-Thurs, 07:30-16:30 

 

Required Skills:

Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long shifts (8–12 hours) and lift up to 25kg frequently, with the ability to maneuver full kegs (approx. 25kg).

Mechanical Aptitude:
Basic technical understanding of machinery to identify issues and perform changeovers between different can sizes or products after training.

Attention to Detail:
Precision in monitoring gauges and adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for safety and quality.

Flexibility:
Willingness to work varied shifts, including early mornings or evenings, depending on the production schedule.

Safety Mindset:
Strict adherence to PPE requirements and chemical safety protocols.

Basic Communication Skills:
Ability to read, write, and communicate with team members in Hebrew or English.
