Job Description:
DARCA Schools seeks an International Grants Manager to integrate into a dynamic team responsible for stewardship of existing partners and development of new ones. As DARCA Schools expands its base of philanthropic partners, this is an opportunity with potential for merited career growth.
As International Grants Manager, You Get To:
• Write grant proposals, as well as manage a schedule of grant renewals and reports, ensuring they are well-organized, clear, and adhere to the guidelines and requirements of the funding source;
• Communicate extensively with the network’s pedagogical and educational professionals;
• Prepare compelling presentations and contribute to the network’s English-language marketing efforts, including the annual achievements brochure;
• Work with staff and lay leadership to capture relevant data that informs grant reports and other development material;
• Provide ongoing support to the US-based fundraising arm to advance their goals;
• Research and identify prospects to develop opportunities to engage them in the work of DARCA.
Job Requirements:
• Have demonstrated success in writing successful grants, reports and the full gamut of written donor communications;
• Have faultless English and impeccable writing skills;
• Are fluent in Hebrew;
• Can complete projects with exceptional attention to detail and efficiency;
• Are action-oriented and flexible, and are able to work independently as well as to collaborate with colleagues;
• Have a passion for our mission;
• Are personable, motivated, and a team player;
• Can multi-task and prioritize, and are a quick learner.
