You want your child to be curious, focused and confident, and to enjoy the process of learning.
Chess gives children a place to practice thinking before acting, solving problems, making decisions and trying again when a move doesn’t work. Just as importantly, it’s time spent face-to-face with other children, learning and having fun together.
In our small weekly group, children ages 6–12 learn with Woman Grandmaster Tícia Gara, three-time Hungarian Women’s Chess Champion. Beginners are welcome. No pressure to be a champion, just a wonderful opportunity to learn from one.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Tícia Gara is a Woman Grandmaster, a three-time Hungarian Women’s Chess Champion and an international competitor. Now based in Israel, she enjoys teaching chess to players of all levels.
