Sammy Yahood – Reclaiming Our Priorities: A Wake Up Call for Us and the West
Beginning his activism journey shortly after October 7, Sammy strives to be a Maccabi leading from the front. Motivated by strengthening and increasing the resilience of the Jewish people, especially in the diaspora, Sammy has spent much of his time volunteering as a Krav Maga instructor, security detail as well as a madrich on Taglit Birthright Israel programmes.
Inspired by the deep history of Jewish resilience, his goal is to inform and encourage Jewish people to get out there, get stronger, and to make Aliyah. He is passionate about strengthening the Jewish community by motivating and inspiring on an individual level.
Sammy also strives to bring light to the existential threats facing the Jewish people and Western Society, through relatable and often humorous content.
He will talk about aspects of the Muslim world, its approach and its influence on the Western world. He’ll describe the culture of comfort and complacency in Western Society, the illusion of peace time, the nature of diaspora anti-Semitism, and the future of Jews outside of Israel.
Growing up in London and recently making Aliyah, his career is in construction/real estate. Having managed large-scale development projects, Sammy hopes to continue applying these learnt skills to rally the Jewish people.
