Four main themes of the afternoon: great-power competition between the United States and China, Israel’s Indo-Pacific partnerships, China’s role in the Middle East, and the rise of middle powers. Twenty-one speakers, including two sitting ambassadors and the Foreign Ministry’s head of Asia-Pacific.
