Entrepreneurship in the New Middle East

The Asper Center for Entrepreneurship at The Hebrew University Business School is proud to host a lecture and panel discussion on developing forward-looking economic agendas for Israel and the MENA region.

Professor Paul Gompers is the Eugene Holman Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School and one of the world’s leading scholars of venture capital, private equity, and entrepreneurial finance.  Professor Gompers, drawing on insights gleaned from over 400 meetings with business and political leaders in the region, will discuss the key elements for the emergence of entrepreneurial ecosystems outside Silicon Valley and specifically how the MENA region can leverage the Israeli experience.

The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Naomi Hausman (Chairman of the Asper Center for Entrepreneurship at the Hebrew University Business School) on opportunities and challenges for business cooperation between Israel and other MENA countries.

The event will be held in English.
