A Visit to the Bakery: Thursday Night in Bnei Brak

Hilik Rozenberg, a cultural and food tour guide in Bnei Brak, and Haredi internet personality, has built a tasting tour around the star of the Jewish Shabbat table – challah. Together, we will taste challah in the city’s mythological bakeries, perform a hafrashat challah ceremony and take a look at the baking process in one of the areas famous bakeries. Together, we will sample some of challah’s natural partners – chamin and chopped liver – and peek through the window of Bnei Brak’s bustling culinary scene.
