About the Event:

“Love & Faith” is a musical journey through the eyes of someone who chose to be a part of the Jewish People from a place of love. Expect pop sounds with meaningful lyrics and some touching and feel-good stories along the way. This specialty performance can show the most distant of souls that even if they feel isolated and disconnected, a little “faith” is all they need.

About The Artist:

Howie Danao, a Filipino-Israeli singer, grew up in an affluent Tel Aviv home alongside his Filipino single mother, who was a foreign worker. Fluent in Hebrew, he was a semifinalist in a top Israeli reality-show competition called HaKokhav HaBa, or Rising Star during high school. He was in the cohort with Netta Barzilai and Mergui, top singers in Israel. Howie served in the Israel Defense Forces before even becoming an Israeli citizen. His participation in a Jewish-identity program for Israeli soldiers led him to a spiritual journey and conversion to Judaism. Despite his secular Roman Catholic family’s initial resistance, Howie embraces his new faith, seeing it as a fulfillment of his purpose. Howie has shifted his focus from pop music to sharing his spiritual journey through musical lectures of love and faith, with aspirations for a future in diplomacy.
