SERVICES FOR LONE SOLDIERS
The Lone Soldiers Program provides guidance, support, and care for all Olim Lone Soldiers. Our holistic approach will guide you throughout the process – from before your draft, throughout your service, and of course after your release. Our team consists of knowledgeable and experienced advisors with influence with the government, including an employee who sits within the IDF.
ACTIVE AND POST ARMY SERVICES
Financial Grants
We offer financial grants to all Lone Soldier Olim, and Mahal Lone Soldiers from North America. Eligibility restrictions apply, so please be in touch with us for more information
Post Army Career Counseling
In conjunction with the NBN Post-Aliyah team, we help assist lone soldiers navigate life after the army with a variety of services and programs. This includes 1-on-1 meetings, virtual webinars, and employment consultations
Medical Issues
In cooperation with the IDF our advisors ensure that soldiers understand the IDF healthcare system, and ensure that soldiers receive appropriate medical treatment.
Programming for Olim
Lone Soldiers have access to a variety of different social events throughout their IDF service. This includes informational events, networking events, social events, and online programming. In addition, we have a program called “Shishi Taim” for soldiers to receive free food for Shabbat.
Moving Assistance
The Lone Soldier Program provides moving assistance to soldiers in active service. Please email [email protected] to see if you are eligible for this service.
LSP 24/7 Hotline
The LSP Team has a 24/7 Call Center to aid and support our lone soldiers. This is a vital resource for all lone soldiers who are dealing with any issues throughout their service, and it is important to know that they can reach LSP advisors at any hour of the day.
ADVOCACY FOR LONE SOLDIERS
Annual Yom Siddurim
Our flagship event of the year is designed to allow Lone Soldiers to complete all their errands under one roof in just a few short hours. During this day we host more than 40 government offices and organizations.
Government Advocacy
Nefesh B’ Nefesh works with all government offices and institutional bodies to address bureaucratic issues Lone Soldiers might encounter.
Lectures to IDF Commanders
Advisors give lectures to IDF commanders about how to help Lone Soldiers with sensitivities and issues.
NBN IDF Representitive
Our representitive advocates for Lone Soldiers and provides them with support and bureaucratic assistance.
