The Lone Soldiers Program provides guidance, support, and care for all Olim Lone Soldiers. Our holistic approach will guide you throughout thre process – from before your draft, throughout your service, and of course after your release. Our team consists of knowledgeable and experienced advisors with influence with the government, including an employee who sits within the IDF.

Noya Govrin
Noya GovrinVP, IDF Partnerships
Noya was born in Israel and lives in Har Adar with her partner and three children. She holds a B.A. in Social Work from the Hebrew University, as well as a Masters in Labor Studies from Tel Aviv University. Noya has been with Nefesh B’Nefesh for the past 15 years, and has been the director of the Lone Soldiers Program since its’ onset in 2012.
Shraga Y. Weissmann
Shraga Y. WeissmannProgram Director
Shraga Y. Weissmann moved to Israel in 2001 and enlisted in the IDF where he served in the Golani Infantry Brigade. After completing his service he received his MBA in Business Management from Ono Academic College. Today Shraga lives in Efrat with his wife and six kids.
Seva Gamidi
Seva GamidiLSP Team Leader
Seva made Aliyah from Baku, Azerbaijan, with the Naaleh youth program of the Jewish Agency. After finishing school in Herzlia Atid Raziel, she enlisted in the IDF as a Tazpitanit in the 636th Nitzan Field Intelligence Battalion. Seva studied BA in Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy at Reichman University. Seva is part of the ELI(Educational Leaders Institute) project team, which supports and conducts non-formal Jewish education for young people in Jewish communities in the CIS countries.
Samantha Agranoff
Samantha AgranoffLSP Marketing Manager
Sam was born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She made Aliyah in 2018 after graduating from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Social Work and a B.A. in Jewish Studies. Sam served at the Erez Crossing as the Assistant to the Gaza Strip Supply Coordinator for two years in the COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories) unit.
Tal Torovezky
Tal TorovezkyLSP Events Manager
An Israeli native born and raised in New Jersey, Tal returned to Israel with Nefesh B’Nefesh in January of 2020. Tal holds a degree in Communication, Management, and Design with a concentration in Corporate Communcations from Ithaca College. With more than 5+ years of working in the events industry, she now works as an Event Manager for the NBN-FIDF Lone Soldiers Program and currently resides in Tel Aviv, IL
Danielle Balas
Danielle BalasReleased Lone Soldier Manager
Danielle was born and raised in Israel. After finishing school, she enlisted in the IDF as an Educational NCO, where she conducted educational programs for combat soldiers.

Danielle studied for a BA in Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy at Reichman University. Before joining Nefesh B’Nefesh, she managed the alumni community of the WINGS program at The Jewish Agency, where she developed a meaningful support and guidance network for released lone soldiers.

Natalie Ozeri
Natalie OzeriLone Soldier Advisor | English Advisor
Natalie was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She made Aliyah with Nefesh B’Nefesh in 2015 and joined the IDF at 21 years old through Garin Tzabar. She drafted to the Michve Alon Hebrew course and then went on to serve as a combat soldier in the Iron Dome unit of the Air Force.
Naomi Gutstein

Naomi was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois before making Aliyah in December 2017. She joined Garin Tzabar on Tirat Tzvi and later drafted into the IDF, beginning her service at Michve Alon. She went on to serve for two years as a Chemical Warfare Defense Instructor in the Home Front Command. Naomi holds a B.A. in Business and Technology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Laura Roudine

Born in France, Laura decided to move to Israel at the age of 18 after completing her baccalaureate. She first participated in a Masa program and later enlisted in the army as a Sambatsit in Battalion 82 of the Armored Corps. After her military service, she pursued a degree in Business Administration.
Yulia Masenkis

Yulia Made Aliyah from Russia through the Sela program, after completing the program, Yulia was drafted into the army and was a shekemist. After the army, Yulia received her degree from the University of Haifa.
Vicky Tronllan Saba

Vicky was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico.
At the age of 15 she came to Israel with the Naaleh youth program of the Jewish Agency. After finishing school in Ulpanat Amana, Kfar Saba she did her first year of Sherut Leumi as a lone bat sherut at a school teaching 7th graders about Judaism.
