This is a one-time sum that is transferred into your bank account within 60 days of your release.<\/p>\n<p>If for some reason the payment has not been transferred into your account within 60 days of your release date, please call the IDF Payments Department at 03-6792888. If you are unable to reach someone there, please call 1111 Ext. 3 for the Payment Department.<\/p>\n<p>The size of your grant depends on whether you served in a combat, combat support, or non-combat position.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hachvana.mod.gov.il\/maanak\/Pages\/CalculatorAndDeposit.aspx\">Click here<\/a> to get a rough estimate of how much money you should receive.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-panel panel-default panel-3f18a5c80066654bc fusion-toggle-has-divider\"><div class=\"panel-heading\"><h4 class=\"panel-title toggle\" id=\"toggle_3f18a5c80066654bc\"><a aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"3f18a5c80066654bc\" role=\"button\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion-65291-1\" data-target=\"#3f18a5c80066654bc\" href=\"#3f18a5c80066654bc\"><span class=\"fusion-toggle-icon-wrapper\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><i class=\"fa-fusion-box active-icon awb-icon-minus\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><i class=\"fa-fusion-box inactive-icon awb-icon-plus\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><span class=\"fusion-toggle-heading\">Pikadon: Deposit<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div><div id=\"3f18a5c80066654bc\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"toggle_3f18a5c80066654bc\"><div class=\"panel-body toggle-content fusion-clearfix\">\n<p>The Pikadon is a deposit (the amount depends on where and how long you served) that is put aside for soldiers and Bnot Sherut who served for 12 months or longer. The Pikadon cannot be touched for five years from the end of your service, and at that point is transferred directly to the bank account that you provided during your army service.<\/p>\n<p>You will need to bring the form to Bank Leumi or Bank Hapoalim and request that they release your Pikadon to your new bank account.<\/p>\n<p>If you are having any problems, please call the branch of the Ministry of Defense that handles released soldiers and former Bnot Sherut at 03-777-6770.<\/p>\n<p>You can calculate your Pikadon amount <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hachvana.mod.gov.il\/PikadonUpTo5\/Pages\/CalculatorAndDeposit.aspx\">here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can withdraw your Pikadon within the five-year timeframe for the following six purposes: education, vocational training, driver\u2019s license, opening up a business, marriage, and buying an apartment.\u00a0Click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hachvana.mod.gov.il\/PikadonUpTo5\/Pages\/default.aspx\">here<\/a>\u00a0for more information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>** Please note that if you do not claim your Pikadon within 10 years of your release, you are no longer eligible to receive it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you leave the country, and no longer have an Israeli bank account, you will need to appoint a Power of Attorney to claim the Pikadon. To find out the process please follow the instructions <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hachvana.mod.gov.il\/PikadonAfter5\/Pages\/%d7%99%d7%99%d7%a4%d7%95%d7%99--%d7%9b%d7%97-.aspx\">here<\/a> or send an email to <a href=\"mailto:Pikadon_5@mod.gov.il\">Pikadon_5@mod.gov.il<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Whoever you have appointed in Israel to deal with your Pikadon will need to bring in both forms (the power of attorney document and the form from the website) to either Bank Leumi or Bank Hapoalim. Once both forms are submitted, the army will send your Pikadon to a registered Israeli bank account of your choice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Receiving your Pikadon after 5 years<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>According to the Law of Released Soldiers; 2017, 5 years after you finish your compulsory army service, your pikadon will automatically be transferred within 60 days, to the bank account you had when you finished your army service. <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>If during those 5 years, you decide to open a new bank account, it is recommended to keep the bank account you had when you finished your service open.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When will it be transferred?<\/p>\n<p>If your mandatory service finished after 14<sup>th<\/sup> of January 2014, and you did not use all of your Pikadon during those 5 years, the money will be automatically transferred to the bank account that was in the IDF system when you finished your mandatory service.<\/p>\n<p>The Pikadon will be transferred within 60 working days from the month that you were released from the army 5 years prior.<\/p>\n<p>If you finished your service after the 12<sup>th<\/sup> of July 2010, you will be able to see your Pikadon status in the Personal Information on www.hachvana.mod.gov.il<\/p>\n<p>Your Pikadon will be available to you according to the 2017 Law for 10 years from the end of your mandatory service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If my bank details from the time of my army service have changed\/expired?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>You can choose to receive an SMS which will allow you to withdraw your Pikadon via the Post Office (Bank Hadoar).<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hachvana.mod.gov.il\/org.malan.usc.ui\/Login\">Login<\/a> via the Hachvana Website<\/li>\n<li>A notification will appear to agree to transfer your Pikadon to the Post Office.<\/li>\n<li>Approve the request<\/li>\n<li>After approving the reuqest it will take 7 working days and then you can go to any Post Office Branch to collect.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Well Done! All that is left for you to do is:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Book an <a href=\"http:\/\/mypost.israelpost.co.il\/branchessearch\">appointment<\/a> in accordance with Covid restrictions in an area that is close to you<\/li>\n<li>You will need to show ID in the form of: TZ (ID)\/Drivers License\/Passport\/ID of a Released Soldier<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Pay Attention:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will be able to take out the money from the Post Office only after 7 working days from approving the request. You will have 90 days to take it out from the Post Office. If you do not take the money out within 90 days, the money will be automatically put back into your Pikadon.<\/li>\n<li>If the representative at the Post Office is having trouble finding your Pikadon, you can ask them to Login and enter \u05ea\u05d5\u05db\u05e0\u05d9\u05ea J171 \u2013 \u05de\u05d5\u05e1\u05d3 45<\/li>\n<li>When you arrive at the Branch, you will need to provide a document of proof of your bank account.<\/li>\n<li>You can receive the Pikadon via Bank Transfer or Cash (up to 11,000 shekels).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you want to withdraw between 10,000 to 11,000 Shekels, you need to provide ID documentation (Teudat Zehut) including an updated photo. You cannot use a passport or a driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n<p>If the Pikadon is more than 11,000, you cannot withdraw it via Cash at the Post Office.
