ALIYAH OUTREACH SPREADS COAST TO COAST AS NEFESH B’NEFESH & THE JEWISH AGENCY CONDUCT FOUR MORE ALIYAH FAIRS ACROSS THE USA

Aliyah Fairs to be held in LA, San Francisco, Chicago and NJ

(JERUSALEM; 5 October, 2010) –(JERUSALEM; 2 December, 2010) – Following the success of the career-focused Aliyah Fairs in October conducted on the East Coast and Canada by Nefesh B’Nefesh and the Jewish Agency, four more Aliyah fairs will be held during December, in Los Angeles, San Francisco Chicago, New Jersey. The Aliyah fairs, which will run from December 12th to 19th, are part of Nefesh B’Nefesh and the Jewish Agency’s expanded programming aimed at providing the most comprehensive Aliyah information and guidance to potential Olim in order to help better prepare them for their Aliyah.

Participants at the fairs will have the opportunity to meet with Aliyah consultants and attend general Aliyah informational seminars on topics such as: ‘The Aliyah Process’, ‘Choosing a Community’, ‘Taxing and Budgeting’, ‘Navigating the Israeli Education and Healthcare Systems’ and ‘Shipping’. The LA and New Jersey fairs will also feature a special networking seminar geared towards the many singles and young professionals residing in the area, as well as ‘Speed Aliyah Meetings’ on topics such as Go North, Employment, Aliyah Rights & Benefits and more.

Additionally, in response to the growing trend of older Olim following their children and grandchildren to Israel, the LA, Chicago and San Francisco events will introduce special programming focused on Retiring in Israel.
