arrived this morning, and Elie, Bruce and I were three of hundreds that sang, cheered, cried, jumped, screamed, and wished them Mazal Tov, Welcome Home. president Shimon Peres attended as well, as he greeted the biggest group of Lone Soldiers- 85- who were also on the flight. One of the future soldiers my kids know, and he told me he plans on coming over a lot- I hope so....anything for a soldier, and anything, anything for a Lone soldier.
One man we knew from Nefesh B Nefesh said--"It wasn't so long ago that you were on the other side" .... "I know", I said, "I keep coming back, but I'll stay on this side".
Rabbi Faas, one of the co-founders of Nefesh B Nefesh told a story that Rabbi Kook was so ecstatic to welcome one Oleh Chadash, Rabbi Faas said, "Imagine the blessing of 250 Olim Chadashim"!
