With 2009 winding down, Nefesh B’Nefesh is not resting, working to get a final aliyah flight in under the wire, explaining the flight will cap this year’s flights and result in the highest N. American aliyah in 36 years, indeed a statistic to be proud of. NBN boasts 3,814 N. American olim this year.

The final flight of 2009 will carry 210 N. American olim, including 81 singles. Minister of Regional Development Silvan Shalom will be on hand to greet the arrivals along with other dignitaries such as Natan Sharansky, the chairman of the Jewish Agency for Israel and NBN officials.
