(IsraelNN.com) Republican Party Vice Presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee toured the Kassam rocket-battered western Negev city of Sderot. Huckabee landed in Israel for a whirlwind two-day fact-finding and solidarity tour. On the first day of his trip, Huckabee visited old and new Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem.

--Families of the eleven Israeli athletes murdered by Fatah terrorists in the 1972 Munich Olympics issued a call for the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to establish an official commemoration for the slain soldiers. "We must all condemn terror over every stage," says Ilana Romano, widow of Yossef Romano, one of the athletes murdered in the terror attack, in an emotional ceremony in Beijing this week.
