Nearly 400 North American immigrants, including 46 people moving to Israel’s northern region as part of the Nefesh B’Nefesh ‘Go North’ program, will be arriving on a charter flight to Israel on Wednesday morning. Several government ministers, including Minister of Internal Affairs Eli Yishai, Minister of Information and Diaspora Yuli Edelstein, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Danny Ayalon, are expected to greet the new immigrants. In addition, Jewish Agency chair Natan Sharansky is expected to participate in the event.

The El Al flight chartered by Nefesh B’Nefesh will be carrying some of the 3,000 immigrants from North America and Britain who will be arriving on 16 Aliyah flights organized by Nefesh B’Nefesh and the Jewish Agency this summer.
