* I make Aliyah because I felt that being part of the whole Jewish history is right here in Israel, and I really want to be part of it. I''ve gotten to the stage where I finished college, and I want to be part of something really great, and making Aliyah is really the first step in being something great .
* Very excited, very emotional, I started crying .
* We came home .
* This is where we''re supposed to be .
* Are you excited ?
* Very excited, very excited .
Erin Viner: "Nefesh B''Nefesh" was founded in 2002, and works to encourage Aliyah from the Us, Canada and the United Kingdom, streamlining the Jewish Agency process of becoming an Israeli, which has been known in the past for being a bit bureaucratic. According to the organization, by summer''s end, a total of 3,000 new immigrants from North American will have arrived on Israeli shores. This is Erin Viner for IBA News |
