RESOURCES FOR PARENTS OF LONE SOLDIERS

We know parents of Lone Soldiers feel a mixture of pride and concern as their child sets off on this exciting journey – and these emotions are amplified by being so far away.

To help bridge the distance and provide an opportunity for parents to understand and be a part of their child’s experience, the Nefesh B’Nefesh/FIDF Lone Soldiers Program has created several ways for parents to stay informed and more deeply connected to their child during their service.

Communication is key, and here are a just a few of the ways you can connect to your Lone Soldier in Israel.

Through a generous grant from Nefesh B’Nefesh and EL AL Airlines, a limited number of subsidized tickets have been made available for parents of Lone Soldiers whose financial limitations prevent them from participating in their child’s IDF ceremonies.

Currently the Subsidy has been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are working hard to reinstate this amazing initiative”
